Nigerian actor who is now a politician, Desmond Elliot has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Surulere Constituency in Lagos which was held on Friday.
He will be standing for a position in the Lagos State House of Assembly for the third time, and he will be undefeated.
When the result was announced, Elliot, who received 30 votes as the single competitor for the ticket, erupted into a joyful dance.
While encircled by some APC members, Desmond Elliot was seen in a video making rounds online dancing to the viral song “Buga” by Kizz Daniel.
